API for automation and efficiency
Our Nordea Connect Management API can be used as a supplement to the integration of Nordea Connect Checkout or Payment Window. Simply to automate certain tasks, such as handling refunds or cancellations, or adding metadata to an existing transaction. You can also set up and manage subscription plans, fetch information related to any of your transactions: like, is it paid or not, was the transaction connected to a marketing campaign, which sales person sold it – directly from your management system. Automation means reduced manual labour for you.
The transaction itself is processed by Nordea Connect. This means that we are responsible for collecting and protecting sensible card holder data – as well as ensuring compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

API for 100% control
With the Nordea Connect Payment API integration, you design and build everything from the ground up. This way, you take control over almost everything in your checkout flow and payment process. Down to the tiniest detail. To do everything yourself – your way, on your terms.
The payment details are sent in through the API and handled by Nordea Connect. In the shadows – so to speak. You can decide to collect credit or debit card data directly, thus making you the responsible party for making sure all payment processes comply with the PCI DSS.
